Thirty-eight (38) students who had average grades of 4.5 to 5.0 qualified as participants. Nineteen (19) males and nineteen (19) females were asked to narrate an American movie. With the method of gathering data, individual verbal narratives, both genders employed hedges, boosters, and filler words.
