Conducted in Cebu City, the qualitative research utilized a phenomenological approach, involve in ten forensic examiners with at least five years of experience as police investigators. From the informants' responses, ten emergent themes emerged. Regarding rewarding experiences, three themes surfaced: Happy to be of Service to Others, Justice is Served, and Financial Rewards through dedicated Services. Conversely, three themes encapsulated unpleasant experiences: Time Constraints on Family, Logistics Concerns, and occupational Hazards. Strategies for handling challenges yielding two themes: Multitasking is the Key and Exercise Initiative. Lastly, two themes emerged regarding the impacts of challenges on duty performance: Charting Responsibility by Means of Forging Expertise and Strategic Resilience. The study's findings advocate for the implementation of support systems within forensic investigation agencies in Cebu City. This includes allocating resources to manage time constraints and address logistical concerns, as well as enhancing resilience and promoting proactive initiatives among forensic investigators to effectively cope with occupational hazards. In conclusion, this study offers insights into the varied experiences of forensic investigators in Cebu City, highlight both the fulfilling aspects of their work and the hurdles they face.
